History of Technology in Social Studies Education

The film projector, and film in general, has been a very useful technology for Social Studies classrooms. Students are able to view history in a way that was previously unattainable through traditional textbook studies. They can now watch movies and clips about nearly any event throughout human history to gain a deeper understanding of the material.
